AFTER THE FLOOD

While it is heartbreaking that the inevitable flood event has finally occurred, we should be grateful that no one was seriously injured, or even killed - a miracle considering the magnitude of the event. This is a testament to the preparedness of Emergency Services and its Director Dan Eamon.  Good job Dan and crew, and the entire response team!

Denver Colorado chosen as "BEST RIVERFRONT" by SUNSET magazine.

The Thinking of the Past.

Current infrastructure such as bridges and roads often reflects a lack of understanding of the dynamics of flooding during the original period it was built.  Todays engineering is much more sophisticated.
